According to Dornish customs, she is the heiress of Sunspear, and the future ruling Princess of Dorne. Arianne is a POV character in A Feast for Crows and The It never really made sense to me why the Martel's and Rhoynar call themselves prince/princess when they have the same amount of power as any lord. Even when the Rhoynar had their domains in Essos the title was still Prince even thought they had the authority of a King.
