Vaemond Velaryon was a knight from House Velaryon during the reign of King Viserys I Targaryen. He was the son of the elder of Lord Corlys Velaryon's brothers. Vaemond had two sons, Daemion and Daeron Velaryon. Vaemond is the younger brother of Lord Corlys Velaryon, the Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark. He serves his brother and his house as a commander in the Velaryon fleet.
