I'm not well ingrained in the fandom so I don't know what the consensus opinion is, but I think how late Martin introduced the Young Griff storyline into the main story means Young Griff has to be Aegon. Had he introduced that thread earlier then a fake out would be plausible, but just from a narrative structure it makes no sense to pull a fake out so late in the story.
